Carrboro High Students Skype Ford CEO
Carrboro High Social Studies teacher Matt Cone and his Global Issues students had a unique opportunity on Tuesday, December 17. The class enjoyed a Skype dialogue with Alan Mulally. Alan is the CEO of Ford Motor Company and the
subject of a fantastic book, American Icon, that was recommended to students by World Bank President Jim Kim last year.
Mr. Mulally spent approximately 30 minutes talking with the class about a variety of topics, including leadership principles, employee relations, and being a global neighbor.
